Welcome to my Web site!

Hello! I am Sagar Deshpande. I am a PhD student in the Geodetic Science department at the Ohio State University. Geodetic Science is a part of the Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geodetic Science department. My advisor is Prof. Rongxing Li. I am a member of the Mapping and GIS laboratory at the OSU. My research interests are multi-sensor data integration and shoreline change analysis.

Earlier, I have obtained my M. Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), India with specialization in Geoinformatics. Geoinformatics is a division in the Civil Engineering Department at IITK. I did my M.Tech thesis under the supervision of Prof. Onkar Dikshit. My master's thesis is related to accuracy assessment of displacement measured using digital close range photogrammetry. I also have research experience from IIT Bombay in the field of GPS.
