Office Hours:

Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Also, appointments can be scheduled.

Objectives of Course:  The course is designed to give students an understanding of spatial analysis techniques available for civil engineering applications. Relevant civil engineering applications, particularly in the water resources and geotechnical areas, are demonstrated in the computer laboratory portion.

Prerequisites:  CE405, CE607, or equivalent with written permission of instructor.

Method of Evaluation:

Students are expected to attend each class and perform the labs. Grade distribution is as follows:

            40% - 1 midterm exam (Thursday, 2 May); Final exam (Tuesday, 11 June, 7:30-9:18 a.m.)

            30% - Laboratory exercises

30% - Class project – oral presentation and report
